Linda's story
Childhood
Linda’s journey began on April 6th, 1988, in Ivory Coast, where she was born into a close-knit family. Growing up alongside her sister Faten and brothers Fadel and Abbass, Linda’s childhood was colored by a passion for the arts, particularly drawing. Even in her early years, Linda displayed exceptional artistic talent, earning her multiple awards and setting the stage for a life marked by creativity.
Despite a three-year age gap, Linda and Faten were inseparable. They weren’t just siblings; they were the best of friends, sharing dreams, secrets, and the joyous moments of youth. Linda’s values and vibrant personality mirrored those of her mother, Hannan, creating a strong familial connection. However, it was her father, Ghaleb, who emerged as Linda’s ultimate role model, shaping her character and influencing the woman she would become.
Education
Linda’s academic journey took her to the Lebanese American University (LAU), where she pursued her passion for pharmacy. She embarked on a remarkable path, completing both her undergraduate and doctorate degrees at the same institution. Linda’s dedication and academic prowess were evident, with her consistently ranking at the top of her class and graduating with honors.
As part of her educational journey, Linda undertook an internship at the prestigious Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas, a pivotal experience that enriched her perspective and honed her skills in the field of pharmacy.
Career
Armed with a solid education, Linda ventured into the professional world, making significant contributions to the field of pharmacy. She held pivotal positions in renowned organizations such as Alto Pharmacy and Empower Pharmacy, where her expertise and commitment shone brightly. Linda’s career was not merely a series of achievements; it was a testament to her unwavering dedication to making a positive impact in the pharmaceutical landscape.
Family
In 2015, Linda’s life took a beautiful turn when she met her husband, Fadi Basma, during his first visit to Lebanon since moving to the USA in 2006. What started as a chance encounter quickly blossomed into something extraordinary. Fadi, struck by the certainty that Linda was meant to be his wife, expressed his conviction during their first meeting—a sentiment Linda initially found hard to believe. However, as fate would have it, love prevailed, and the two embarked on a journey that led to a heartfelt proposal in 2016. On September 2nd of that year, Linda and Fadi exchanged vows, sealing their commitment to each other in a beautiful ceremony in Lebanon.
Their union was blessed with the arrival of two adorable children, Zayn, born in January 2018, and Julia, born in January 2021. Linda’s love extended far beyond her immediate family; she was adored by everyone who knew her. Known for her intelligence, thoughtfulness, and an ever-positive energy, Linda seamlessly balanced her roles as a professional, a mother, and a wife.
At home, Linda was a beacon of warmth and love. She cherished her role as a mother, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to Zayn and Julia, ensuring they felt the boundless love she had to offer. Linda’s remarkable abilities extended beyond familial duties; she excelled in her professional life, leaving an indelible mark on the organizations she served. Her laughter was infectious, and her love for morning coffee became a cherished ritual, symbolizing the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures.

When asked by her doctors if she had any questions, her response, filled with the trademark humor and positivity that defined her, was a lighthearted inquiry: “Can I still drink coffee?” In moments of adversity, Linda’s resilience and ability to find joy became a source of inspiration for all who knew her, leaving a lasting legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering strength
